Nadie diría que esto es una biblioteca pública, pero lo es. No siempre tienen que ser edificios aburridos y rectos, de arquitecturas planas y sin belleza. Esta biblioteca está en Birmingham y es tan hermosa por dentro como por fuera. Espacio público para leer, para consultar o investigar pues hay puestos para todo, y donde el libro es el protagonista pero ya ahora abrazado por las nuevas tecnologías y sobre todo por las ganas de seguir leyendo, sea desde las plataformas que sean.
Las varias plantas de este edificio nos dan muestra visual de su enorme contenido, pero es que además es muy sencillo entrar y observar, como debe ser además, para sentirse abrazado por la cultura recogida, por la belleza de la escritura. Esta imagen es de Navidad, se nota en los adornos.
