No sé si una simple mancha de amarillo chillón puede alguna vez ser mirado como algo ajeno a una simple mancha de amarillo chillón. No le doy valor, pero me lo planteo como un pequeño ejercicio de iluminación, de luces que no son suficientes y de sombras que no llegan a ser sombras.
Todo es plano hasta que la luz logra matizarlo, envolverlo, destacar sus volúmenes aunque sean mínimos. No hay color puro pues siempre lo vemos matizado por texturas, por sombras, por ligeros cambios a veces imperceptibles. Jugar con todo eso logra que a veces dudemos de las formas.
¿Cuántos amarillos diferentes habrá en esa imagen de arriba? ¿Y cuántos colores que no son amarillos se esconden entre ellos? Luz y sombra, que forma texturas. En completa luz o completa oscuridad, no existirían los matices.

Idon't know if a simple patch of bright yellow can ever be regarded as alien to a simple patch of bright yellow. I do not value it, but I consider it as a small exercise in illumination, with lights that are not enough and with shadows that do not become shadows.
Everything is flat until the light manages to shade it, envelop it, highlight its volumes, even if they are minimal. There is no pure color because we always see it nuanced by textures, by shadows, by slight changes that are sometimes imperceptible. Playing with all that makes us sometimes doubt the forms.
How many different yellows will there be in that image above? And how many colors that are not yellow are hidden among them? Light and shadow, which forms textures. In complete light or complete darkness, shapes and textures would not exist.
